CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICE PROTOCOLS

Surrounded by Cedar Child and Family Services
(Hereafter referred to as "SCCFS")
And:
The Metis Commission for Children and Family Services
(Hereafter referred to as "MCCFS")

WHEREAS

SCCFS is an Aboriginal child and family service agency operating within the Greater Victoria area.

SCCFS plans to assume guardianship for Aboriginal children presently in the continuing care of MCFD (CCO's) and has also assumed the management of contracted residential resources.

MCCFS is the representative body of the Metis community with respect to the regulations of the Child, Family and Community Service Act.
